Cross Market Your Way to Larger Profits & Recession Proof Your Company
For women owned companies, it’s been either feast or famine due to the downward spiral of the economy. If you are one of the unlucky companies who’ve lost clients and are struggling with covering your overhead and paying yourself a salary, you can turn things around by cross marketing.
Cross-marketing at its essence is nothing more than joining forces with compatible companies so that everyone involved can more effectively capitalize on each others’ existing client base. It’s a no cost or low cost way to build awareness of your company.
Before you approach a company to discuss cross marketing, have a firm idea in mind on how you would like to proceed and compensation for referrals. I recommend using special business holidays to build joint promotional campaigns. It allows you to build a publicity campaign to capitalize on your cross marketing activities.

Hello,

Setting Your Goals- The Power of Focus
According to the Encarta online dictionary, goal means aim, something that somebody wants to achieve.
1. Knowing where you are heading empowers you. If you can see the finish line, you know exactly how much effort is required for you to cross it and that is empowering.
2. Recording your goals also empowers you. By writing them down and giving them a timeframe to make them measurable, you go through the mental process of figuring out exactly what you are going to need to achieve them. Assigning a date by which to achieve your goals helps to apply the pressure necessary to motivate you to action.

Hello from Joanie Winberg, the Founder of the Fresh Start After Divorce
Our goal for the Fresh Start after Divorce Community is to provide you with tools and techniques to support and encourage you through the emotional roller coaster of divorce. I have hand-selected experts from across the country that are committed to help you move your life forward and live the life you desire and deserve.
Today, I am excited to share with you very powerful tips from the Entrepreneur Expert for the Fresh Start after Divorce Community, Linda Hollander, Women in Business Coach.
5 Ways to Cash In on Your Feminine Strengths
You were born with the ability to make your dreams into reality. Being a woman is your base of power, not your weakness. Women entrepreneurs are the fastest growing segment of the economy. We are starting businesses at twice the rate of men and claiming our true economic power. It’s not because we’ve been held back for so long. It’s because we’re good at it.
1. Nurture Your Clients Women are all about connections and relationships. From the time of birth, women are relationship-oriented. In business, this translates to nurturing clients, listening to their problems and providing great customer service. In sales, women are able to focus on helping others rather than pushing products. They ask poignant questions, learn their customer’s needs, and offer extraordinary solutions.

Joanie's passion is to help women to regain their confidence, build self-esteem and create a foundation of life skills. She is also the author of Rising to the Top, A Guide to Self Development, a Certified Human Behavior Consultant, and a Business/Personal Consultant specializing in divorce.
