About Sally's Images

Sally's clients often tell her that they are drawn to an image not only for its aesthetic value, but because of a metaphorical connection to an experience or relationship. Although many of her shots are taken with a digital camera, Sally doesn't alter her images beyond converting to black & white or sepia tone.
"Our society is too obsessed with altering what we perceive as defects. Perhaps our perception of beauty needs to be re-examined. I've yet to find a dictionary that defines beauty as the absence of all flaws. In fact, beauty is what shines through despite the presence of imperfections. I embrace them as part of the landscape's story, and often seek them out to enhance the charm of an image."
