As far back as I can remember I have been able to see the human energy field and all the wonderful colors within it.  This ability is called Auric Sight.  It is essentially a combination of psychometry, meaning to measure the soul, and clairvoyance, meaning clear vision.

As a child auras fascinated me. When I was growing up there was very little information available, but I was fortunate because my mother was one of the pioneers of yoga in Britain and she completely understood my psychic talent.  She taught me the basics of color, which helped to interpret the energy I saw. In my early twenties I trained in various psychic and healing modalities including color therapy, but the majority of my knowledge has come from personal experience.

I call myself a color intuitive and psychic artist.  In my sessions my clients choose from a cornucopia of color combinations held within glass bottles. I sense the language of each color chosen and how it reacts to others; somewhat similar to reading planetary aspects within a natal chart.  I also look at the aura and feel what the colors within the energy field are telling me. All I do is interpret the messages of color, and you can do the same!

Each color has a vibration that is similar to the patterns of sound. Color has a rhythm. Sometimes it is upbeat, at other times it sings the blues -- even when it is yellow!   Color conveys feeling - it can feel heavy, light, happy, or sad!  Just because a book tells you that yellow is a happy color, it doesn't mean to say that it is necessarily a happy color today.

What Color Is My Aura TODAY!

You are made up of all the colors of the spectrum, this is not an esoteric statement it is science. The colors in your energy field change frequently, just like your thoughts and emotions. Some can be more dominant while others may be completely missing from your personal rainbow. You can find out what the dominant color is in your energy field and what it means just by asking yourself a number of questions.

·        Close your eyes, relax, and say to yourself -- what color am I today?

If the answer does not come, then say to yourself -- If I knew what color I am today, what would it be?

Be open to the first word, idea, image, thought, that might come up for you. It may even manifest as music or as a feeling. Allow yourself the pleasure of playing with your inner wisdom. Do not doubt the messages you receive.

Once you have acquired the color ask yourself a second question.

·        What does this color mean for me today?

Again if you do not arrive at an answer, just say -- If I knew what this color means for me today, what would it be?

You can continue using this technique to gain better insight into how color works for you. Ask questions such as:

·        What is the best color for me to wear today?

·        What color will heal this issue or that challenge?

·        What color will help me lose weight?

·        What color will attract abundance into my life?

The Meaning of Color

Color interpretation is an individual thing, there are many meanings, but it can be guided by a basic understanding of its symbolism. Here are a few color interpretations:

Red -- physical power, dynamism, energy, abundance

Orange -- sexuality, creativity, playfulness, sports

Yellow -- intellectual power, laughter, self worth

Green -- compassion, healing, balance

Blue -- communication, expression, structure

Indigo -- imagination, intuition, dreams

Violet -- transformation, faith, meditation

White -- purity, new beginnings, cleansing

Grey -- modernism, balancing decisions, developing intuition

Black -- mysticism, new ideas, magic

Magenta -- mother, religion, beauty

Brown -- nurturing, growth, hibernation

Pink -- love, sensitivity, protection

Your choice of color is an integral part of your life. The colors you wear, eat, drink, and surround yourself with reflect more than personal preference, they mirror an inner wisdom. By interpreting the messages of color you invite a new perspective into your life that can illuminate not just your present journey, but your future path as well.
