As women we juggle a lot of responsibilities, and it sometimes feels as though all of the jobs fall on our shoulders. Luckily, we have a knack for intuition. When we slow down long enough to take in our surroundings, we realize that our planet cannot support the lifestyles we've been living much longer. Neither can our bodies, come to think of it.
Going Green is An Inside Job I believe the easiest way to go green is to start with yourself and your body. The healthier you are, the more informed and positive you become, and you can then take action.
Eating healthy is all about making informed and mindful decisions about what we put into our bodies. For some that might mean choosing organic produce, whole foods, and reducing animal products.

Going Green Inside Spills Over to the Outside When you eat more mindfully, you take care of your body better so you can take care of your loved ones and your environment better. You also have a huge impact on the planet. An added bonus is that your changes tend to cause a ripple effect, by inspiring others to make similar changes.
Eating more fresh fruits and vegetables reduces the packaging required. Less packaging means less resources like fossil fuels and trees need to be extracted, and less ends up in landfills. Eating local produce reduces food miles, and increases the nutritional value and enjoyment of the food.
Going green on the inside has a domino effect on how green you are on the outside.
When you go green you become lighter. Your ecological footprint is lighter, you feel lighter physically, and lighter emotionally through newfound peace of mind.
